
kateelayne is a collaboration of the skill and passion of its founders,
Layne Pickett and Kathleen Urciuoli. Layne is a mother of children with food allergies,
hence the passion. Kathleen is a professional baker, hence the skill.
Together the two have developed a line of carefree treats that are meant to bring a smile
to the face of those affected by food allergies.
After years of experimenting with recipes and ingredients to accommodate her
children's food limitations, Layne consulted her neighbor, Kathleen.
Through this partnership the kateelayne cupcake was born.
What started as a Saturday afternoon bake-and-taste has evolved into a company dedicated
to creating an inclusive world for people with food restrictions.
Our mission at kateelayne is to create wonderful-tasting
allergen-safe baked goods in a dedicated facility using quality ingredients
and emphasizing attentive customer service.
